Welcome to Kids Create Art...a fun filled educational Art program that teaches children the discipline of art while allowing them to explore their creativity.

Throughout the year we will investigate different periods in art and the styles that define them. We’ll learn about artists in the past and present, both well known and not so well known.

Kids Create Art helps children learn both about the history of art and techniques that will help them grow as artists. We work with many mediums and learn about the elements of shape and design.

Working both from our imagination and real life, we train not only our hands but our eyes as well. Starting from the ground up, we allow for each artist to build a strong art foundation that will allow them to create confidently for years to come.

  Kids Create Art's mission is to open up the eyes of young people to the wonderfully freeing and expressive world of art. By giving children a chance
to explore art through a variety of techniques and mediums, we strive to provide a foundation that will take away the fear of not knowing how to "do art".

  We value each child's creativity and imagination. Understanding that   we   are all  individuals and have our own interpretations on the world around us, Kids Create Art promotes the idea that "Art is NEVER Wrong!" In class we do not make mistakes rather "happy accidents" that we find ways to work around or with.
