About Kids Create Art & Wellness

At Kids Create Art & Wellness, our classes are intentionally designed to support both how kids feel and how they create.Classes weave together Finding Balance (yoga-inspired mindful movement) with process-based art, giving students the tools to regulate their bodies, focus their minds, and express themselves creatively without pressure or perfection. We don’t rush kids into making. We help them arrive first. That balance-first rhythm is what allows creativity to feel accessible, meaningful, and personal. Especially in a world that often asks kids to perform instead of explore.

How Our Classes Work

Every age group follows the same thoughtful flow, adapted developmentally:

Finding Balance
Students begin with mindful movement, breathwork, and simple meditation practices that support emotional regulation, body awareness, and focus.

Process-Based Art
With calmer bodies and open minds, students move into art where experimentation, choice, and creative thinking are prioritized over finished products. This pairing supports creativity that feels grounded...not rushed, not forced, and not driven by comparison.

All classes are held at Loft Wellness Community in downtown Windermere, Florida. A shared creative and wellness space designed to support connection, calm, and growth. Our studio serves families from Windermere, Winter Garden, Clermont, and surrounding Central Florida communities.

Preschool

Our Preschool Art & Balance class begins with mindful movement to help our youngest students arrive, settle, and feel grounded in their bodies. Through gentle yoga-inspired movement, breathwork, and simple mindfulness practices, children ages 3 - 6  build body awareness, focus, and emotional regulation in a playful, age-appropriate way.

After balance, we transition into process-based art, where creativity takes the lead. Preschoolers explore a variety of materials and techniques with an emphasis on experimentation, choice, and self-expression. We prioritize process over product, allowing each child to create in their own way without pressure, rules, or expectations. This balance-first approach supports calm bodies, open minds, and joyful creativity from start to finish.

Elementary & Homeschool

Our Elementary Art & Finding Balance classes are designed as the perfect pairing—mindful movement to support growing bodies and emotions, followed by process-based art to support creativity and self-expression. Together, these experiences help children ages 5–11 build focus, confidence, and resilience while giving them space to explore who they are and how they learn.

In Finding Balance, students practice yoga-inspired movement, breathwork, and simple meditation techniques that help them manage stress, build body awareness, and feel more grounded in both home and school settings. In art, they move into a supportive, engaging studio environment where experimentation is encouraged and process is prioritized over product. This pairing creates a rhythm that supports the whole child—calm bodies, open minds, and creative confidence that carries beyond the studio.

Tween & Teen

Our Tween & Teen Finding Balance class begins each session with mindful movement to help students ages 9 and up arrive, regulate, and feel grounded. Through yoga-inspired movement, breathwork, and simple meditation practices, tweens and teens build tools for managing stress, improving focus, and developing emotional awareness, setting the stage for calm bodies and open minds.

Following the Finding Balance class, tweens and teens move into art with calmer bodies and focused minds. In this process-based art class, students ages 9 and up explore contemporary artists, develop technical skills, and experiment with a variety of media while building their own creative voice. Projects encourage creative thinking, self-expression, and growth without pressure or perfection.
