Service Description

Finding Your Voice Friendships get more complicated as kids grow. Group dynamics, social pressure, exclusion, conflict, and online interactions can leave even confident kids unsure of how to respond. Finding Your Voice is a small-group workshop designed to help tweens build confidence, strengthen communication skills, and navigate social challenges with greater self-awareness and resilience. Through discussion, real-life scenarios, role-play, and interactive activities, participants will learn how to: • Advocate for themselves respectfully • Set and maintain healthy boundaries • Navigate friendship changes and conflict • Recognize unhealthy relationship patterns • Respond to peer pressure • Handle exclusion and social conflict • Understand the role of social media and group chats in modern friendships • Know when to handle a situation independently and when to seek support from a trusted adult This workshop is ideal for tweens who: • Struggle to speak up for themselves • Have difficulty setting boundaries • Tend to people-please • Feel left out or excluded • Avoid conflict or become overwhelmed by it • Want tools for navigating friendships and social situations with greater confidence Workshop Dates: July 12, 19, and 26 July 12 & 19: 10:00 AM–12:00 PM July 26: 11:00 AM–12:00 PM The final session includes a parent recap and resource session, providing families with practical tools and strategies to support continued growth at home.
